The PEAK's research is focused on altitude training, high
altitude acclimatization techniques, and human performance.
The development of innovative products and devices is also
a top priority for the PEAK's research team.  Here are a few
of projects that the PEAK has completed:
Power Generation of the Lower Extremities: A
Comparison of the Effects of Aging
Rating of Perceived Exertion in Cool Versus Warm
Water during Second Trimester Pregnancy
The Lactate Paradox: Establishing the Effects of
Moderate Altitude
A Comparison of Peak Performance among Elite
Athletes at Low Elevation versus Moderate Elevation
Inspiratory Muscle Training Techniques
Investigating the Effects of Various Stressful
Thermal Environments on Core Temperature
during Preganancy
